Another opinionated blog

Every time I get bored I read and I have been accused of reading too much, I say if you don’t want me to read someone has to stop writing!. So there I am bored out of my skin and to cure the boredom I found myself surfing the internet to find some reading therapy. I went on a clicking rampage until a topic grabbed hold of my eyes and would not let go until I read it.
It said read Sailors go Hooker hunting. It was quite a captivating title, so I read on. Only to discover that they did not really go hooker hunting but they went to a place where hookers are known to hang out. And they did not do anything in the way of making a catch instead, they were ogling and jeering at the hookers.
And I was thinking is that what you call hunting? What I do know is that when you go hunting you come home with the booty or scars from the one that got away. It turns out the person writing the piece calls herself a human rights activist who felt riled that religion is to blame for the way prostitution’s rampant in the world.

I have been to church many a time and never have I heard a priest, deacon, reverend or any church authority advocate prostitution. If people have become depraved and immoral I think it is because they have gotten rotten at the core and this has nothing to do with religion. Church leaders can only preach and advise people to take the moral high road. When a person exchanges their modest clothes for near naked lingerie and stands on the street selling themselves I do not think religion should come into play.
If you were to go on that corner and ask the working girls if they know of God/Allah or Jehovah they will tell you they know all about him, but a girl has to make a living. Why no one has blamed the men that go and buy sexual favours, still beats me. Instead religion get the flack. If the men were not buying these services, the women would not sell, it is that simple.
Let religion sit out on this one.

This is a Blog about anything that has to do with anything.
