Most people add very little value to the world. Instead, the vast majority of humans spend most of their time consuming media. Today there are more movies, music, videos, TV shows, podcasts, blogs, social networks … than ever before all designed to keep you sitting in front of your TV or computer doing nothing but feeding your mind with garbage. The more you sit there and consume all this useless stuff, the richer you are making the people that make it, and the more broke you become.

Rich and successful people do not have time to sit and consume all this junk or spend the whole day talking nonsense on Facebook. Instead, rich and successful people are busy devising new ways to keep the broke masses sitting and watching. They do this so they can phone major companies and tell them, “look, we have 3 million people watching our programme/movie/website, don’t you want to place an advert during a commercial break, or slip your advert on the side of our website?” The whole world’s financial system is driven by advertising revenue, the more people they can get to sit and watch something, the more money they make from advertising.

Next time you sit down and watch a programme on TV just ask yourself, “is this adding any value to my life?”

Try to find out how you can make money from the masses out there considering they have an ever growing need to be entertained. From now on, YOU are the one that will be providing the entertainment and making money while they sit and be entertained. Your financial success is determined by the extent to which you supply other people with what they want. Some newspapers in South Africa have made tonnes of money this way, just think how many times you see the words SHOCK, DRAMA, SCANDAL, HORROR, SEX on the front page, If the masses want it, GIVE IT TO THEM !!!
