Another opinionated blog

With the advent of web 2.0 a lot of things have changed sites have started to value user interaction and input in everything that they do. It is just speculation that Google in the near future may even alter their search algorithm to favor sites that are voted for by the users. An example of such a site would be a site with reviews on certain social media sites like Stumbled upon and maybe it would be highly favored in delicious or Laaik.it, Google would then take these factors into consideration when ranking the site in the search results. At present sites like stumbled upon are helping people make better choices in what they search and this has been done by their toolbar which can rate sites in SERP’s on the fly
User voted for content is usually a very good thing to consider when online, the fact that a lot of people think something good indeed means that this thing is good. This fact can also be seen in the ranking of Youtube’s video content and really, with regards to SERP relevancy the use of user review is really the best thing in regards to the quality of any website search. If this algorithm change was favored basically the sites that are highly ranked will have the most user ratings and reviews. Another example that supports this argument is Google’s image labeling game. The game allows people to label images in an interactive way and then Google uses the results to index images in their images search results. Social bookmaking is a really powerful tool, we will just have to wait and see what the future holds in regards to rankings in SERP’s.
This is a Blog about anything that has to do with anything.
