South Africa’s president in waiting, Jacob Zuma, was this morning sworn in as a Member of Parliament in Cape Town.

Fresh from performing the greatest comeback in political history, Zuma was sworn in along side other ANC colleagues Trevor Manuel, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Lindiwe Sisulu and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela by Chief Justice Pius Langa.

MPs from the newly formed Congress of The People (COPE) were also sworn in, they were Rev Mvumi Dandala, Mbazima Shilowa, Willie Madisha, Mluleki George and Phillip Dexter.

With corruption charges behind him, Zuma must now appoint an efficient cabinet of ministers to assist him in managing Africa’s largest economy, Crime, rising unemployment and a Global Economic Crisis which has now started to bite into South Africa.
