Hakia Search Beta

Hakia.com is a semantic search engine that aims to rank its results according to the quality of the results that come up for a search query. The search engine claims it will provide results that are relevant to the query. Since Google’s dominance in the search, market, very few people have attempted to even challenge this fact, until hakia.com is a search engine that aims to arrange results semantically, this means every search that you make will be ranked according to quality rather than popularity which most search engines these days are doing. With a tabbed results display the search engine allows you to enter a search term and then view the results according to

1) All results – This is probably all the results in the search index that are relevant to the users query, they are ranked according to relevance

2) Credible sites – The results are ranked according to the relevant site and the categories that they belong to

3) News – The search engine will only search for news related to the search term

4) Images – Image results are shown

5) Meet others – this allows for you to interact with other users who have done similar queries.
